According to many studies, omega-3s therefore play an essential and powerful role in managing inflammation. Put simply, your cardiovascular system is made up of your heart and the blood vessels associated with it. 


Omega-3 has been shown to change and improve cellular function through animal studies. Ultimately this has been reflected in human consumption of omega-3 consumption. In relation to the human cardiovascular system. Omega-3 brings a plethora of benefits in relation to maintaining cardiovascular health.

Arrhythmias 


Arrhythmia is a broad term for the heart beating too slow, too fast or with an irregular rhythm. Omega-3s have shown lower this risk of of them by 30%



Heart Disease/Heart Attacks


Triglycerides are a type of fat in your blood. Excess levels in your blood negatively affect you in terms of health. High triglycerides could lead to health conditions. Particularly, an increase in the risk of stroke, heart attack or heart disease from the hardening or thickening of artery walls. This is also known as arteriosclerosis. In extreme cases, high triglyceride levels can lead to acute inflammation of the pancreas.


Omega-3s have been shown to lower triglyceride levels. Ultimately this correlates with studies where individuals that consumed omega-3s were almost one-third the risk of death from a heart attack versus those who did not consume fish. Conversely the risk of death from heart disease was almost on half of the risk contrast to those who did not consume omega-3.
